הקורס יעסוק בגישות מקרו-כלכליות לתופעה של עליות חדות במחירי נכסים שלעתים קרובות מסתיימות בקריסה. במשך הקורס נדבר על מספר גישות תאוריטיות שמסבירות באילו תנאים יכולה להתקיים בועה פיננסית, או מצב שבו מחירו של נכס עולה על ערכו היסודי. בנוסף, הקורס יעסוק בשאלה של האם מצב זה צורך התערבות ממשלתית. הקורס יתנהל באנגלית
