From the foundation days until today
The first class of the TAUED commenced in the 1965/66 academic year. In that year the Tel Aviv extension of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (hereinafter, HU) stopped accepting new students.
From the establishment of the TAUED in 1965/66 until 2013, 13,633 students completed Bachelor's degrees in Economics, 841 completed Master's degrees, and 64 completed doctoral degrees. The quality of the teaching is reflected in the TAUED’s high place in the world rankings of Economics Departments.
